Training
All of those who register with us are given the opportunity to take part in both free and discounted training to enhance their skills and CVs. Some of the training that we currently offer includes emergency paediatric first aid, first aid for mental health and Team Teach Training.

All of our teaching staff are paid in line with the Department for Education's teacher's pay scale so, you won't be losing out by working for an agency. Furthermore, our in-house finance team work hard to ensure that you are not only paid correctly each week but that you are also paid on time.

Our registration process
In order for us to find you work in a school near you, you'll need to register with us. This is a 5 step process which followsAPSCO合规性+guidelines and requires you to successfully complete our all of necessary compliance checks. Below we have outlined each of the steps so you know what to expect.
Your Smile journey will start with a phone call where we’ll ask you about the type of work you’re looking for and your experience working with children. We'll also take the time to tell you about opportunities currently available in our schools and nurseries. During this call, we'll conduct pre-interview safeguarding checks. Providing this goes well, you'll be invited to an online video interview at a day and time that suits you.
We'll send you an email confirmining your interview date, time and link to Microsoft Teams. It will also contain a list of original documents that you will need for the interview - you can see them allhere. You will then receive a second email inviting you to begin our online compliance process. This typically takes around 20 minutes to complete. It’s really important you complete this in order to move on with the process. To find out more about the registration process, take a look at our 'what to expect' blog.
You will then meet with our team for a video interview. During the online interview, you'll meet with your consultant who willverify all your original documents.

Following your interview, we will then collect your references, DBS, and some other items to ensure that we have everything we need to make you compliant. If there is anything, we're missing you may be required to meet with us again, either through video call or face-to-face.
