Smile Education are working in partnership with a Secondary School based in Kings Norton, who are looking for a Geography Teacher to join their team straight away. This school wants every child to be well prepared academically and socially for the career of their choice and the challenges of life. This is underpinned by their values of: aspire, expect and achieve together, in every aspect of school life. This is a growing school serving the local community, the staff create a sense of enjoyment and fascination for the students to explore, create and innovate. A welcoming environment has been created by the staff who are looking to expand.

This role will consist of teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography and will be full time. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil all aspects of the teaching role including planning, marking, completing reports, parents evening and data collections. You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.

The successful candidate must have:
  • QTS/PGCE Qualification
  • 2 education-based references
  • Knowledge of Geography curriculum
  • A passion for teaching
  • Good approach to behaviour management
  • A determined, hard-working attitude
